THE CLINTON DETWEILER SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCED

We're thrilled and pleased to share the announcement of THE CLINTON DETWEILER SCHOLARSHIP presented by Terry Fator and Taylor Makakoa. A video performance competition, three amazing scholarship packages are to be awarded including two scholarshps for performers 17-and-under and one for a performer 18-and-up! Included in each package is $2,000.00 toward expenses for the winner and a guest or chaperone from Terry Fator and Taylor Makakoa, a $350.00 credit towards an Axtell Expressions puppet provided by Steve Axtell, ConVENTion 2013 entry fees courtesy of Vent Haven ConVENTion and enrollment fees for nine ventriloquism courses at www.learn-ventriloquism.com courtesy of Tom Crowl. TERRY FATOR: AWARD WINNER!!

Exciting News! Our ventriloquist friend Terry Fator was just named as "Las Vegas' #1 Performer" by the Las Vegas Review Journal. The magazine ran a contest and the vent community got behind Terry to help him win this award. Congrats to Terry..congrats for a great vent community for helping one of our own!!

LIST OF PARTICIPANTS FOR THE JUNIOR AND SENIOR OPEN MIC

It was a rush at 10 AM this morning as both adults and juniors vied for positions in our Junior and Senior Open Mic sessions. The lists that are posted here are in the order in which they arrived in our email box and this will also be the order in which they will appear on the Open Mic sessions.

The first eight in each division will be on stage, with four alternates also mentioned, in case someone drops out. All four alternate spots are also open in the Junior division, so please write if you are interested in securing one of these spots.
